TIGER Drylac, a pioneering manufacturer of coating systems since the early 1930s, is renowned for its extensive range of environmentally friendly thermoset powder coatings. Committed to sustainability, TIGER sought to enhance energy efficiency, reduce energy costs, and achieve greater energy independence at their St. Charles manufacturing facility. Additionally, they aimed to increase their use of renewable energy to further their environmental stewardship. To realize these ambitious goals, TIGER partnered with Verde Solutions. We collaborated to design and install a comprehensive solar energy system, utilizing both rooftop and ground-mounted solar panels on their unused land. This project marks a significant step toward TIGER's commitment to sustainable practices and renewable energy adoption.

Verde Solutions collaborated with TIGER Drylac to implement an extensive solar energy system, featuring both rooftop and ground-mounted installations. The system boasts a capacity of 951.23 kW-DC, comprising 1,778 solar panels and 31 inverters. Throughout the project, Verde Solutions navigated design modifications prompted by a building expansion and addressed permit delays due to AHJ requirements. Despite these challenges, the installation proceeded smoothly. TIGER praised their experience with Verde Solutions as positive, enduring, and flexible, highlighting our commitment to delivering tailored and effective energy solutions.
